When I first joined my basketball team, I was one of the smallest players and most weak players. I was told that I was never going to become a starter, never going to make it on a team that goes out of state, and never going to make Varsity in high school. Over the past three years, I put in all the time that I could into making myself stronger physically and mentally so that if could prove those girls wrong. Today, I am a starter for my club team, I have been to Chicago for Nike Nationals, and I am going to try my hardest and show off all of the work that I have done to prove my spot for Varsity as a Freshman.
